MATTHEW HERBERT (Original Music). Restless innovator, sampling wizard, classically trained pianist and producer Matthew Herbert is one of electronic music's most versatile and prolific figureheads. Recording under his own name as well as Doctor Rockit and others, Herbert has also produced and remixed artists as diverse as Björk, REM and John Cale. As a contemporary composer of note, he is currently working on a number of films and stage productions, as well as his own Matthew Herbert Big Band project.
