LIZ FLAHIVE (Playwright)

Flahive's first play, From Up Here, premiered at Manhattan Theatre Club in 2008 and received the John Gassner Playwriting Award from the Outer Critics Circle. From Up Here was also nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play and a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play. Her plays have been developed at Williamstown Theater Festival, Naked Angels, Keen Company, Sundance Institute Playwrights Retreat at Ucross Foundation and Ars Nova. Founding member: Playgroup (Ars Nova). Recipient of MTC's Bank of America New Play Commission. Liz is a proud, longtime volunteer with The 52nd Street Project. She is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Department of Dramatic Writing and is currently a producer on the Showtime original series "Nurse Jackie."

TOM KITT (Composer)

Tom Kitt received the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, as well as Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Orchestrations, for Next to Normal. Tom is also responsible for the music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations for Green Day’s American Idiot. Other composing and arranging credits include High FidelityBring It On The Musical, Pitch Perfect, The Winter’s Tale, All’s Well That Ends Well (The Public’s Shakespeare in the Park) and From Up Here (MTC).
