AMANDA PEET (Playwright)

Amanda Peet has starred in numerous films including Something’s Gotta Give, Igby Goes Down, Syriana, The Whole Nine Yards, and Nicole Holofcener's Please Give. On television she starred in the WB drama “Jack and Jill,” as well as Aaron Sorkin's “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.”  Her theatre credits include the Broadway revival of Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park (opposite Patrick Wilson) and Off-Broadway productions of Break of Noon and This Is How It Goes, both by Neil LaBute. Peet will next be seen in the HBO comedy “Togetherness,” created by the Duplass brothers. Her play The Commons of Pensacola will be produced by Manthattan Theatre Club, and will star Blythe Danner and Sarah Jessica Parker. A native New Yorker, Peet resides in both Los Angeles with her husband, the writer David Benioff, and their two daughters.

LYNNE MEADOW (Director/Artistic Director, Manhattan Theatre Club)

As Artistic Director for over three decades, Lynne has overseen hundreds of productions and accepted every major award on behalf of the company, including 19 Tony Awards, 6 Pulitzer Prizes, 48 Obies and 31 Drama Desk Awards, as well as numerous Drama Critics Circle, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Awards. Directing credits include Richard Greenberg’s The Assembled Parties, Margaret Edson’s Wit (Tony nomination); Donald Margulies’ Collected Stories (Tony nomination), The Loman Family Picnic, Charles Busch’s Our Leading Lady and The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife (Tony nomination), David Greig’s The American Pilot, Ron Hutchinson’s Moonlight and Magnolias (MTC, Alliance Theatre), Leslie Ayvazian’s Nine Armenians (Drama Desk nomination, Best Director), Alan Ayckbourn’s Woman in Mind (Drama Desk nomination, Best Director)and A Small Family Business (Broadway), David Rudkin’s Ashes (The Public, Obie Award). American premieres by Marsha Norman, Simon Gray, Howard Brenton, etc. Graduate of Bryn Mawr College, attended Yale School of Drama. Recipient of numerous awards including the Mr. Abbott Award, Margo Jones Award, Lucille Lortel and Lilly Award for Lifetime Achievement, Louis Auchincloss Prize etc. Taught at Yale, Fordham, NYU, etc.

SANTO LOQUASTO (Scenic Design)

Last season at MTC he designed Golden Age and The Assembled Parties, for which he received his 17th Tony nomination. Other recent NY theatre designs include Waiting for Godot, Fences and Wit. He has collaborated with Woody Allen on 27 films, receiving Academy Award nominations for Radio Days, Bullets Over Broadway and Zelig. He received three Tony Awards, the Merritt Award for Excellence in Design and Collaboration in 2002, was inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame in 2004, received the Pennsylvania Governor’s Award for the Arts in 2006 and the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2007.

TOM BROECKER (Costume Design)

Tom Broecker designed the Broadway productions of Race, Everyday Rapture andYou’re Welcome America starring Will Ferrell; London and Broadway productions of Side Man; The Understudy (RTC), Good Boys and True (Second Stage) and Streamers (RTC; Huntington) Off-Broadway. Designed in dozens of theatres across the country including MTC, The Public, Playwrights Horizons, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Hartford Stage, McCarter Theatre, Yale Rep, Shakespeare Theatre D.C., CENTERSTAGE and Williamstown. TV: “House of Cards” on Netflix, starring Robin Wright & Kevin Spacey, “Saturday Night Live,” “The Big C,” “The Comeback,” “In Treatment,” “The Beautiful Life,” “30 Rock,” numerous pilots. Six Emmy nominations.
